The EU Taxonomy Regulation serves as a classification system for sustainable economic activities and represents the central reference framework that companies subject to the CSRD must include in their sustainability reporting, as stipulated in Article 8 of the EU Taxonomy Regulation. It affects not only companies directly required to report, but also SMEs in the value chain that act as data providers for their business partners. In this practical webinar, you will learn how companies can identify relevant economic activities, review technical assessment criteria, and correctly record and report sustainability-related key performance indicators (KPIs). We will also examine the requirements for indirectly affected companies and illustrate this with a concrete example from the construction and waste management sectors, such as demonstrating recycling rates.
Target audience:
The webinar is aimed at sustainability managers and those responsible for controlling, reporting, and corporate communications from companies of all sizes and sectors. It is relevant for both companies subject to reporting requirements and non-reporting organizations that are indirectly affected in their role as data providers. The webinar will focus particularly on industry-specific aspects and examples from the construction and real estate sectors and the waste management industry.
