A few days ago, the jury of TRIGOS Steiermark decided on nine finalists
These will be presented at the end of September at the big TRIGOS gala in the
Old University compete for victory in three categories.

"The TRIGOS is a fixture in the calendar of sustainably managed companies in Styria. The award stands for corporate responsibility, innovative strength, and future-oriented action. Even a nomination is a significant honor, as the TRIGOS is Austria's highest-quality sustainability award," said Nikolaus Juhász, CEO of BKS Bank, who, in his role as a board member of respACT, has been involved in the presentation of the renowned sustainability award for many years.
Manfred Geiger, Head of the BKS Bank Styria Branch, adds: "The quality of the submissions was once again exceptionally high this year. We were particularly impressed by the diversity and innovative strength of the companies. This is a very positive sign that sustainable business practices have arrived in all sectors and that work is underway on future-proof solutions."
The following can be pleased about a nomination:
Climate protection category:
Saubermacher Services Corporation
Winkelbauer GmbH
XAL GmbH
Regional Value Creation Category:
Fürstenfelder Ökoenergie GmbH
Komptech GmbH
Category Exemplary Projects:
Frutura Fruit & Vegetable Competence Center GmbH
Herbert Lugitsch and Sons Ltd.
JMB Fashion Team GmbH
Lixtec GmbH
In addition to the nominations in the three categories, the jury also decided to award a special prize. This award will honor a company participating for the first time and demonstrating exemplary performance in a short period of time.
Basis of valuation
The jury, which consists of renowned experts from business, science
and civil society, evaluated the submissions
according to the strictest criteria. The focus was on the innovative strength, impact, and sustainability of the respective projects and measures. Particular attention was paid to responsibility in the core business and the imitation effect, i.e., the role model effect for other companies. "This clearly demonstrates our high quality standards. In one category, only two submissions cleared this hurdle; in another, there were so many top projects that we were able to nominate four companies," emphasizes jury chairwoman Gabriele Faber-Wiener, a transformation expert who has been responsible for the jury and quality management at TRIGOS for many years.
The majority of Styrian submissions came from companies that were submitting for the first time. This demonstrates that the award is gaining increasing traction. At the same time, there is a high proportion of repeat entrants, for whom the jury paid particular attention to further development within the framework of their core business. All submissions to TRIGOS Styria automatically participated in the TRIGOS Austria judging process.
