Škoda celebrates the European Month of Diversity with the Elroq Respectline, which is inspired by the values of respect, inclusion, equality and fair dealing – the foundation of the company culture.

Škoda Auto presents the Elroq Respectline: a concept car with a distinctive exterior and interior design, created to highlight Škoda's core values of mutual respect, diversity, and inclusion. Premiereing during the European Month for Diversity, the vehicle also draws attention to the importance of protecting human rights and the just and fair treatment of all people. The main motif, in the form of the stylized "Háček," derived from the Czech letter "Š," pays tribute to Škoda Auto's origins and rich heritage. The automaker is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. Škoda Auto employees from across the company designed the Škoda Elroq Respectline together. With the Elroq Respectline, the brand is also celebrating the huge success of the production model, for which more than 55,000 orders had been received by the end of April.
Maren Gräf, Škoda Auto Board Member for People & Culture, says: "Diversity, equality, inclusion, and mutual understanding are core pillars of Škoda's corporate culture. With the new Elroq Respectline, we present a Škoda brand ambassador who embodies these values. At Škoda Auto, we want to set an example in caring for our employees and promoting a safe, open, and fair workplace for everyone. Our own corporate culture has been built on these principles for many years – in close cooperation with the KOVO trade union as our social partner, Škoda Auto employee groups, and many inspiring organizations and experts. We are proud of our commitment to promoting human rights and mutual respect and believe that the Elroq Respectline helps us carry these values even further."
Škoda Elroq Respectline: a tribute to diversity and tradition
The exterior design of the Elroq Respectline is characterized by its striking color scheme and the "Háček" as the main motif, playfully reminiscent of the Czech letter "Š." The emblem, taken from the new Škoda logo, adorns both the body and interior design. With the "Háček," the automaker proudly highlights its Czech roots and the company's heritage, which dates back to 1895.
The Elroq Respectline's tech deck front grille features animated rainbow-colored LED lighting. The rainbow is a symbol of the LGBT+ community and serves as a reminder of the diversity of society and the importance of each individual. The expressive rainbow exterior and striking, colorful interior design simultaneously emphasize the strength of diversity and the positive energy that different perspectives and personalities can generate when respected. The interior of the electric vehicle underscores individuality and a strong commitment to sustainability.
Featuring recycled materials from the Elroq, cutting-edge rainbow stitching on the seats, distinctive details, and cheerful, colorful décor elements, the Respectline is a wonderful example of the joy that diversity can inspire. Outstanding craftsmanship, confident design, and a deeply rooted guiding principle invite observers to be swept away by the many colors of diversity.
The new Elroq Respectline follows the Enyaq Respectline. With this model, the brand has highlighted Škoda's core values of mutual respect, diversity, and inclusion in many places in the past. The Elroq Respectline celebrated its public premiere this week at two events: at the Best Car Awards ceremony in Hamburg, presented by the trade magazine auto motor und sport, and subsequently at the company music festival in Mladá Boleslav. The Elroq Respectline will make further appearances throughout the summer, including at the Metronome Music Festival in Prague, Prague Pride, the Czech Philharmonic's open-air concert, and during the Tour de France.
Škoda Auto x Botas Respectline Edition
Škoda Auto and Czech footwear manufacturer Botas have agreed to a collaboration that combines the heritage of both manufacturers in the form of iconic sneakers, expressing Škoda's Modern Solid design language. The sneakers feature rainbow embroidery on the side, which also adorns the interior of the new Elroq Respectline. This collaboration complements the company's stance on inclusion and diversity. The shoes will go on sale in the coming weeks via Botas' online shop.
Škoda Auto's commitment during the Month of European Diversity
