The women's network FACC Wings for Women hosted a summit at the FACC Technology Center in St. Martin im Innkreis. Christine Haberlander, Deputy Governor of Upper Austria, participated in a panel discussion with numerous guests and FACC AG employees about careers, empowerment, and diversity.

FACC AG has set itself the goal of strengthening the prospects of women within the company and creating a suitable environment for this. To further promote diversity at all management levels, the third FACC Wings for Women Summit on March 13 offered around 80 participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and network. State Councillor for Women's Affairs and Deputy Governor Christine Haberlander emphasized the importance of equality between women and men in all areas of life in Upper Austria during the high-profile panel discussion: "A land of opportunity must also be a land of equal opportunities. Women's policy affects all areas of life and therefore cannot be limited to a single department. Seven years ago, the Upper Austrian state government unanimously committed to implementing the Women.Life 2030 strategy in all government departments and administrative areas. Every measure we take for women in Upper Austria brings us one step closer to equality. Despite positive developments, however, there are areas in which we have not yet reached our goal - there is still a lot to do. FACC Wings for Women is a strong initiative that has worked closely with the Women's Department of the State of Upper Austria from the outset. Networks are essential to empowering women and promoting careers. They offer exchange, role models, and support - and that is exactly what is needed to achieve sustainable change. I particularly appreciate that men are also actively involved – because true equality can only be achieved together.”

Women's network as a career platform

Michaela Ernst, co-founder of the business platform sheconomy, opened the event with a keynote speech on "From Dreams to Reality – How to Make Professional Dreams Take Flight." Afterwards, Deputy Governor Christine Haberlander, Theresa Neumüller (Managing Director of Neumüller Rolltore GmbH), Michaela Ernst, and FACC employees from various departments discussed and reflected on encouragement, personal role models, and targeted action ideas for increasing visibility and opportunities for women in companies. Sabine Lenzbauer, President of FACC Wings for Women and VP Procurement, sees the event as an important signal: "With the FACC Wings for Women Summit, we are creating a space for discussion where women can network, learn from each other, and grow together. This platform sends a strong signal for greater equal opportunities and diversity – and an important step towards promoting women's careers at all levels within FACC."
