A sensational success for the EHL benefit concert at the Vienna Konzerthaus: Thanks to generous sponsors and donors, €111,050 was raised for the CS Hospice Vienna of Caritas Socialis. For 30 years, the hospice has been dedicated to providing people in the final phase of their lives with the greatest possible pain relief, professional care, and emotional support.
The Great Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus was completely sold out with over 1,850 guests who were able to enjoy an extraordinary concert program under the charming moderation of Johanna Berki: Under the direction of the internationally renowned violinist and conductor Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, who was recently awarded the prestigious Italian music prize “Franco Abbiati”, the Matrix Orchestra presented an impressive performance including Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and the highlights from Peter I. Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.
EHL CEO Michael Ehlmaier, who as an enthusiastic musician played in the orchestra together with his son Tobias as a violinist, presented the donation check to Sister Susanne Krendelsberger, Foundation Board Member and General Director of the CS Caritas Socialis Private Foundation: “The CS Hospice Vienna performs indispensable work by providing the utmost care to people in the final stages of their lives. I am both grateful and delighted for the generous support of EHL and the numerous sponsors, particularly from the real estate industry, whose help made this substantial donation possible. This not only safeguards the hospice's valuable work but also raises awareness of the importance of hospice care in our society.“.
The EHL Real Estate Group, which regularly hosts benefit concerts for various charitable causes, once again set a strong example of social commitment with this evening. The enthusiastic audience included numerous prominent representatives of the local business and real estate sectors, as well as EHL Managing Directors Astrid Grantner-Fuchs and Wolfgang Wagner (EHL Real Estate Valuation), Franz Pöltl and Markus Mendel (EHL Investment Consulting), Karina Schunker (EHL Residential), and Stefan Wernhart (EHL Commercial Real Estate).
