Energie AG was honored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism (BMWET) with the equalitA Award in the category "Effectiveness in Equal Opportunities in Companies with 250 or More Employees." The company also received the equalitA seal of approval for internal promotion of women.

As part of the LOOP strategic project, Energie AG has implemented targeted measures to create a more open and diverse corporate culture. "Energie AG is actively committed to responsible business, diversity, and equal opportunities. I am delighted that our commitment has now been recognized twice," said Energie AG CEO Leonhard Schitter, delighted with the equalitA Award and the equalitA seal of quality.

"For us, equal opportunity is not a short-term goal, but a continuous process that we shape with conviction, energy, and visibility. We therefore see this award as motivation to continually develop ourselves," says Sandra Brandstetter, Managing Director of Energie AG Personalmanagement GmbH and Diversity Officer at Energie AG.

The award particularly recognizes the Equal Opportunities Network, which was founded by nine female initiators within Energie AG in September 2024. The network's goal is to sustainably promote gender equality and structurally anchor it in the corporate culture.
