The new “NIU” information portal (“Sustainability in Companies”) was awarded the “Innovation Prize of the Year” by Manz.

Sustainability managers responsible for implementing the company's diverse ESG agendas often lack well-prepared, understandable, and actionable specialist information from a single source. MANZ Publishing and University Bookstore now aims to fill this gap with an ESG specialist information initiative. On the website MANZ Publishing – NIU: Sustainability in Business: MANZ, renowned industry experts regularly publish short, concise, and practical articles on the topics of "Laws & Regulation," "Materiality Analysis & ESG Factors," "Strategy – Implementation – Monitoring – Controlling," and "Communication & Stakeholder Management." This forward-looking information portal includes not only 200 ESG-relevant glossary terms and over 70 specialist reports, but also practical tips for implementing successful business models. A particular focus is on explaining the legal foundations of sustainable business for practitioners, as well as numerous best practices – from purchasing to marketing – for companies in all sectors. Gabriela Maria Straka is the editor-in-chief and Marina Luggauer, KPMG, is her deputy.

Christopher Dietz, Non-Fiction Program Manager at MANZ, presented the award: "The effort to create a more sustainable, future-proof economy also unites those we wish to honor today. Their goal: to support sustainability managers in integrating the often complex EU requirements into everyday business operations in a comprehensible and practical way."
