Merkur Golf Charity raises 10,000 euros for charitable causes.

At the invitation of Merkur Versicherung, enthusiastic golfers from the insurance industry met for the traditional charity tournament.
The venue for the charity golf tournament was the Murhof Golf Club in Frohnleiten, Styria. "Golf not only brings people together, but also helps bring shared values to life. It's wonderful that so many supporters and business partners accepted our invitation again this year, in the spirit of partnership and sport," said a delighted Markus Spellmeyer, CEO of Merkur Versicherung.

This year, the proceeds from the tournament will go to the Licht ins Dunkel emergency aid fund. The donations will go to families in the Graz-Umgebung and Salzburg-Umgebung districts and help ease the financial burden of caring for their disabled children.
Social commitment is an essential component of Merkur Versicherung's corporate responsibility and has a long tradition. The charity golf tournament, previously organized by Merkur Lebensversicherung, was hosted by Merkur Versicherung for the first time this year with the goal of supporting people in difficult life situations. Over the years, more than €170,000 has been raised and used where help is urgently needed.
