These are once again two top awards following prominent accolades including the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA) 2024 and the “Green Brands Austria 2024/2025”.
"We are delighted that we have once again been awarded two top prizes in the rankings of the industry magazine Börsianer and are also at the top of the industry rankings. The titles 'most sustainable pension fund' and 'most innovative pension fund' perfectly describe the strengths of the VBV Group. As the market leader in company supplementary pensions and in NEW severance pay, we stand for innovation and sustainability coupled with first-class customer service," explains Andreas Zakostelsky, General Director of the VBV Group.
When it comes to sustainability, VBV has been one of the country's model companies for more than 20 years. Just recently, for example, VBV's sustainability report was awarded second place in the "Voluntary Reporting" category at the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA) 2024. On December 3, the VBV pension fund received the "Green Brands Austria 2024/2025" seal of approval. Green Brands is an international, independent and autonomous brand evaluation organization that recognizes ecologically sustainable brands and awards the Green Brands seal of approval. The VBV pension fund and the VBV pension fund are also among the founding members of the Green Finance Alliance, an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection for a sustainable financial market in Austria.
